“Coco McAtee, I thank the stars everyday that we had that conversation and I decided to have you come and talk with my Girl Scouts. That is one of the best things I think I ever did for those girls..."

Telling the Truth About Bodies

Reclaim the goodness of sexuality
from a Biblical perspective

Coco is sought out by people of all faith backgrounds. Her blending of spirituality and healthy sexuality is unique and meant to bring wholeness to a fractured part of many of our lives.

“Begin with Genesis,” says Coco. “We are made in the image and likeness of God and our bodies are good. Once God created the world, it was declared good. Once humans were made, we were declared very good. All of us — genitals and all.

“Our bodies are designed by God, touched by God, created by God, and they are a truly wonderful thing. Jesus came into the world with a body. He didn’t come solely as spirit. He came with a body. Jesus also taught respect for everyone, including women.

“When Jesus was with his disciples and the crowds were pushing upon him and a woman who had been bleeding for years came to find him. In that culture, any woman bleeding, whether it’s a hemorrhage or her normal cycle, was to stay away from people. But Jesus was touched by her.”

With medical training informed by her own faith, Coco McAtee presents seminars, workshops, classes, and talks on human development and sexuality for all faith traditions. Her approach is both thought-provoking and respectful, and any presentation can be adapted to meet the specific needs of your congregation.
